Florencio Venté is a social innovator, peacebuilder, and impact entrepreneur recognized for his leadership in advancing inclusion, youth empowerment, and action. Over the past decade, he has collaborated with global organizations such as UNICEF and the United Nations, as well as civil society networks, youth movements, local governments, and private sector partners to create sustainable solutions for global challenges.

Florencio previously served as Co-Director of MYCP & Global Focal Point for the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, the world’s largest youth network for people on the move, advocating for over 4,000 young people and organisations in global policymaking. He has led initiatives with UNICEF to expand opportunities for displaced youth and founded Glocals, an initiative that connects diverse communities through social dialogue to combat discrimination.

In addition to his work in international advocacy, Florencio has extensive experience in the private sector, leading international development projects focused on sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and economic empowerment. He has worked to help entrepeneurs access global markets, driving inclusive economic growth and innovation across Latin America and Africa.

His academic background includes a Master’s in Social Integration, a Bachelor’s in International Business, and postgraduate studies in entrepreneurship, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. Florencio has been recognized among the Global Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) Under 40 – 2025, and is a fellow of prestigious programs such as the Harvard Aspire Leaders Program, the Western Union Foundation Fellowship for Social Entrepreneurs, and the ADEL Program by the Policy Center for the New South.

From grassroots mobilization to high-level policy work, Florencio has contributed to initiatives that have positively impacted people worldwide, promoting social inclusion, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue.
